iBorg Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I'm working on a deserted '29 Ford Pick up using the Revell kit. To be accurate I need to swap the wheels to wires. Any recommendations of what kit I should go searching for to find a set of stock wires for an early Ford? Thanks!
stavanzer Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) Revell, makes a '30-'31 Model A Woody that has Stock Wire Wheels, but they are the wrong year, and look a bit different than the '29 Wheels. AMT/Round2 has the evergreen'29 Roadster, that has Stock Wires. The MPC/Round2 '29 Woodie/Roadster Pickup has a set of Stock Wires also, but they don't look as good as the Revell or AMT wheels in my opinion. Those are the easiest to find options I can think of right now. Others may know more or have better ideas than I do. Hope this Helps. Alan Edited January 28 by stavanzer
Fat Brian Posted January 27 Posted January 27 The venerable 34 Ford pickup has a set of wire wheels, not exactly correct but possibly good enough.
