LennyB Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Looking good. I’ve gotten to the point where I hate doing around the windows with BMF, always starts to come loose on me.

espo Posted February 1 Posted February 1 One thought on doing BMF on models. Look at where the OEM trim breaks are on a 1:1 car. Most trim around say a windshield or a rear window will have large parts going along the top and bottom of the opening. The vertical portions of the trim will be a separate part and often a small almost square transition part at the window opening corners. By following the way the factory would trim a car body you're not trying to bend a long section of foil causing the foil to not want to lay down smoothly in some areas, plus you'll use less foil. 2 1

Yep, that's how I do it. It works great.💯👍 1
