Mr. Can Am Garage Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 This started as one of those "what if" projects. "What if" Ponatic had decided to market a Judge package for the '04-'06 GTO. This is what it could have looked like. Polar Lights '04 GTO stripped and repainted Vedoro Green from Rainbow Products. Got a tiger in your tank? Factory stock GTO decals are from Modeler Al. You need these decals! K&S aluminium tubing for exhaust tips. Judges stripes from the Revell/Monogram '69 GTO. Red lines done following George Bojaciuk's Redline LeFever article from ages ago in the pages of SAE. Front license plate from a Fred Cady sheet (think it was his '69 Royal Bobcat sheet). More of Al's fabulous decals! Decided to pull the hood off and use the underhood decals that Al provides as part of his sheet. You can quit twisting my arm now Al.
S10man Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 I like the concept, and the execution is flawless.
BIGTRUCK Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Man thats super John....whoda thunk red walls....love it
crispy Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 John, Jackson's boys did a helluva job. I'm not real keen on the stripe, but the V.G. paint is perfect! Got to wonder if that would have went over well on the real cars. Modeler Al's decals look fantastic on their. Looking at yours has made me take mine out of the case and put Al's decals on to finish. Great work! Chris

Great work! Chris You NEED his decals Chris. Well worth the asking price of $10 plus $1 for shipping and $1 for PayPal. I was almost finished the build when I realized that the kit decals just weren't going to cut it. Al's make it.
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted October 30, 2006 Author Posted October 30, 2006 Thanks for the kind words guys!
mrglubaum Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Nice job! I like the "what if" concepts. Makes me wonder if some of them wouldn't have been great sellers!
