Justin Porter Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Sounds about right. Stevens International and Hobbytyme both give me an MSRP of $49.99 which makes a $43 shelf price pretty much a going rate.
thatz4u Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Erik, an easy modification to these kits in the future could be a split manifold & daul exhaust...
LOBBS Posted July 1 Posted July 1 Ooh, I definitely could see the sedan delivery in my future for sure

I'm pretty sure Erik will weigh in if that has changed since then....very best...TIM I would be happy as a pig in slop if some industrious resin caster, or 3D printing wizard would produce a conversion kit to build a '48 Pontiac Aerocoupe (Torpedo) version, I'd be happy if it was just a body conversion. 1

It may vary if the shipment is from a manufacturer (Tamiya, Heller, Airfix, Aoshima etc) from another part of the world. Some may come through U.S.A. or may come into our own ports. I just hope that the U.S. shippers don't stick their ransom on BEFORE shipping to Canada. Or there just might be a resurgence of bootlegging across the Great Lakes.😉
Justin Porter Posted July 11 Posted July 11 Happy to be able to say that these have landed at distributors and I have my stock in-bound. Really excited to be able to put these on my shelves. 2

This will also fit on the coupe very well, so if you build a fastback without the wood grain, save it for the coupe That's great information to know. Thanks for sharing it!
Justin Porter Posted Thursday at 10:09 PM Posted Thursday at 10:09 PM Well, just as I said, they arrived this week. Unusually, Moebius has followed suit with European and Asian kit manufacturers in that these kits were NOT shrink-wrapped as delivered from the distributor. This also, of course, meant I had the opportunity to photograph kit contents. I elected to snap some pictures for everyone of the Fleetmaster Coupe to show how this reissue has turned out and it is a sharp one! 4 1
peteski Posted Thursday at 11:42 PM Posted Thursday at 11:42 PM Nice to see plated parts in a newly produced kit. Seems that some other manufacturers are skipping that step. I have these two kits from the original run by Galaxie (still unbuilt).
stavanzer Posted Friday at 01:16 AM Posted Friday at 01:16 AM Thanks for sharing. As usual, Moebius Decals are "Sparse"..... I wish they would put more effort into their decals. 1
