Chris in Berwyn Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I bought this when it was released and finally built it. While there are several tricky parts to the build (despite its a fairly low parts count) I’m happy with how it looks - it is such a cool car. I’m not sure what I was thinking, but I did not join and putty the two-piece front section of the body before I started building. And I should have sanded off the battleship rivets on the wedge. You’ll also note that the white decals have some bleed thru. But I’m still happy with how it looks! 14
M W Elky Posted February 27 Posted February 27 It looks great I’ve also have one of these to build that’s been sitting on my shelf for years now. Thanks for the build tips and inspiration
ybsluos Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Chris it looks fantastic! Yeah white decals over red can be problematic but I probably wouldn’t have noticed if you hadn’t mentioned it. I’ve seen the red bleed through on white decals way worse than it did on your model. Also, those photo wheels really pop on aI probably wouldn’t have noticed if you hadn’t mentioned it. I’ve seen the red bleed through on white decals way worse than it did on your model. Also, those photo which wheels really pop on a dragster. That’s the way to go man for sure. They take a while to build, but the results are worth it. Again looks sweet my friend. -Mark
