Terry Jessee Posted March 2 Posted March 2 (edited) I just finished this rusty old hot rod. I have some things I need to touch up and fix, and a couple of things to add, but this is pretty much done. I'm going to put it away for a while and move on to something else. I still need to find a color for the bed floor because it's too rusty. I tried some gray washes but they faded too much. So I'll try some other ideas. The black pickup was based on the old AMT instruction sheet--the "Barris-designed" drag truck. I made mine more streetable. I built it for "Hot Rod Model Kits" in 1999. Think I'll build something out of the box--no deviations, for once. Maybe... Edited March 2 by Terry Jessee 5
stavanzer Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Those are both excellent Builds of the legendary AMT '34 Pickup. Good Show.
