Yes it finger prints way to easy, the battery boxes where chromed a month ago and I can finally handle then with no issues. My engine parts have been chromed for months and they are good to go. The battery straps after three days will finger print yet, so I will let the rear light assembly and battery straps sit now and turn my focus back to the engine and cab. I had heard one guy put them in a dehydrator, but did not hear back how that worked. I think a month is safe. 2 1
