Shark Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Not trying to tell you what to do, but I cut the center grill section out and moved it forward. The nose on the kits is too flat across the front.
Kevinjr26 Posted April 8 Author Posted April 8 yeah i will make the top grill opening larger and fab up a new grill to sit on the outside of the nose photos can be deceiving on some shots the lower air dam seems to be more rounded then i see the angle in which they took the picture again down to scale i probably won't ever be satisfied with the end result but i like doing bodywork
Kevinjr26 Posted April 8 Author Posted April 8 yeah after closer inspection the lower air dam may need to be pulled out a bit....thoughts?
Ben269 Posted yesterday at 05:10 AM Posted yesterday at 05:10 AM Nice job so far, this kit needs the help for sure.
MarkJ Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I like what you're doing, Kevin. I wish I had done that to my Ward Burton first xfinity win Buick he drove back in the day. But that was years ago.
Volzfan59 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago (edited) I’ve got two or three Regals in the stash waiting to be built. I’m going to follow along. Even though that was one of my favorite bodies from back when NASCAR was worth watching, I never quite understood it. The Buick Regal and, to a lesser extent the Olds Cutlass front end reminded me of a rounded off brick. Especially on the super speedways. The Regal just didn’t seem as slick as a Thunderbird. Monte Carlo SS or the Grand Prix to me. Edited 8 hours ago by Volzfan59
