I don’t know if his blazer would’ve came from the factory with those colors. Hawkins police may have bought it and painted it their colors and put the graphics on it. I just picked this kit up yesterday and was thinking of painting it in Tamiya racing white which is sort of an off white and was going to do Tamiya Tan for the other color. 1
espo Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Some jurisdictions will use colors from a manufacturers "Fleet" colors that wouldn't be available to a normal retail customer. Suggestion would be to Google Images of that year model Blazer. They normally will have a factory color chart along with images of actual cars. This would give you an idea of what would have been a standard color to see if that was in fact used. When considering a movie prop the movie company may have used a color that fit their production needs and not necessarily be 100 % accurate. 2

This came up last year when the kit first came out, IIRC it was determined then that those were NOT a colour combonation available from the factory that year.
