It's getting close

All craft paints

Went through the color rainbow but settled on the brown because I never see them. I added drops of black and espresso metallic to help and I'm glad my ratio mix was good.

Final assembly next.

Looking good Alex. I hope you trial fitted the body on the chassis, this kit doesn’t like to fit together.

Looking good. Especially the undercarriage. What color did you choose for the body? Looks close to what I used on my Gto.

Its a custom mix of CraftSmart Brown, Rich Espresso and Black.

I had to thin it quite qa bit to the point I thought itll just run but it turned out well so I have cleared it with Quickshine.

I found I had to do the same with my gto, I used a metallic from deco-art. You're first pics looked looked similar, the last set show better what you described. Probably the flash or lightning. Great color either way. Gonna be a sharp looking duster. I like the down played colors on mopars,  gives them a sleeper vibe.

Like the paint color as it is different from what everyone else tends to do and the contrast with the black trim goes well.

Setback*

Putting the body on chassis, side window came off, front winshield let go at top and steering shaft fell out

Fitment is terrible after test fitting before .  Revell glue is poor will be using Krazy glue now on.

In the front I had to trim the ends of the dash. In the rear I made the side quarter windows fit flush, cut off the original tabs to move them outward. Sme people eliminate them completely.

Is it the back of firewall that causes this?

I don't want to put body back on and off

Well I sanded and cut off anything that looks like it may be interfering.

Had to reglue the interior sides again and tomorrow we will see if it works or it will get thrown against the floor 😄
