Rbray47 Posted April 15 Posted April 15 It's starting to look like I have a thing for single axles lol This is the 2nd 921 I've built. This one started as the mixer kit from Ollie's. The rear axle and springs came from the White Freightliner, as well as the wheels. Unknown battery box was put behind the cab so it could have two under cab fuel tanks. As with all of these Amt Kenworths, the glass had ejector marks, so I cut new windows from clear plastic blister packaging. I went a little overboard with air electric lines, especially since all of them are sprayed black and partially hidden. I also converted it to single air cleaner, single headlights using amt 51 Chevy bezels, scratchbuilt the mud flaps and luberfiner. 9
BK9300 Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Excellent detailing and paint finish, Randy (like the rusting weld seams on your exhaust piping!) - terrific job! 1
cifenet Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Great work, I enjoyed looking at all the customization work put into the truck! The yellow and black color combination is nicely done too. 👏
leafsprings2 Posted April 19 Posted April 19 (edited) Very nice conversion to single rear axle, single stack and single headlights. Door mounted mirrors and Freightliner 22's look great. Detail work is superb! Nice intake manifold, what kit was that from? Edited April 26 by leafsprings2 1
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Where do I start? First of all, excellent choice going with the single headlights! I really like the paint scheme and color choice on this. Nice work on the added details! It looks Awesome!! Excellent work!! 1

The intercooler and intake pipe are kit supplied, but heavily modified with strip styrene and lots of filing and sanding.
