Ron G Ron,,I have those which I may use but I ordered a piano hinge from the wood boat kit company Dumas ,, I'm going to see what that looks like 1st...it's complete,,15 inches long,,,you cut it to size Miniature Piano Hinge .360″ x 15″ #2120 – Dumas Products

I used that hinge on my 1/16 Peterbilt 359. As you can see it's perfect for 1/16 scale but a triffle large for 1/25-24 scales. Ron G Edited May 15 by ShakyCraftsman 1

I figured I'll see what it looks like only dimension was .360 opened so it's a guess how it will look on the butterfly hood,,,I have the ones you have to use if it looks too big

As long as the pops aren't under the paint! lol,,,yeah even though the black shows all the sins ,,,it should look good with the red cab/frame and chrome radiator shell/aluminum tanks .I think I'll do the rims white and the cast spokes will be red with the frame 1
