Nathan,

This might be something you could try to tackle yourself.

You would need to modify the center of the front bumper, make an open headlight grille, remove the center rib in the taillights (or scratch build them as the shape is very simple, and remove the hood scoops.

Someone recently started 3D printing open headlight grilles for the 69 GTO which would help.

Since the GTO was based on the LeMans model things like the seats are the same.

Probably the longest stretch, but If I want to build a replica of my own car I would probably need that if it exists.

I recently saw one. I can’t remember if it was Harts Parts, or one of the 3-D printers out there, but I know I saw one. I was thinking about doing away with the hose away lights on one of my GTOs as well.

I thought about trying it myself; I could see myself probably getting away with doing the front bumper/grille, and the hood I believe would be a mix of heavy sanding away of those scoops, and I think some filler, can't remember if the scoops have the holes. I have a built '69 GTO but if I were to build my LeMans I'd probably buy the kit again. Oh and also the lower part under the bumper is different on LeMans than on GTO.

As for seats; I almost forgot, my car is a bench, automatic on the tree; no buckets. But I think I have an extra bench seat hanging around somewhere.

Probably not going to start this anytime soon; I still need the '69 GTO kit anyway, but I like to make sure a custom build is plausible before I actually make the commitment.

It would probably be easier to install the GTO parts on your Lemans, LOL.
