Rodent Posted Friday at 02:25 AM Posted Friday at 02:25 AM Does anyone have one of these trucks handy that could measure the OD of the cartoon tires? I have my original built one somewhere that I would like to restore with a more correct wheel/tire package but it would take me a while to find it. Thanks!
Bainford Posted Friday at 03:04 AM Posted Friday at 03:04 AM (edited) I have some tires from an old 1/20 MPC Corvette, and I'm pretty sure they are the same tires. OD = 1.220" ID = .750" Width = .525" Edited Friday at 03:06 AM by Bainford

1972coronet Posted Friday at 12:42 PM Posted Friday at 12:42 PM Yep. Those are the same tyres used in their 1/20 scale kits.
Rodent Posted Friday at 03:27 PM Author Posted Friday at 03:27 PM Thanks guys. I am going to start shopping for some 6-lug wheels and better tires for this thing. I don't want to go much larger in diameter than the tires that MPC supplied.
