Falcon Ranchero Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Today was a very nice 3-hour show. We brought the Highway Star over and lots of other neat cars showed up. A nice older couple in a '66 Caprice parked beside us. Also my friend's younger brother showed up with his original paint, '69 Newport, which was sold originally here in our city. Very nice car. (pictures uploaded out of order not sure why) 4

iamsuperdan Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Your friend's green Newport is awesome. I wonder if it's a corporate thing for A&W to have stores host these weekly events. There's an A&W here that shares a parking lot with a big retail store, and hosts a show every Saturday night from May through September. If the weather holds, I shoudl try and get to it this weekend. 1
Tyreman Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Great photos! i love the Dodge Magnum...i know not the most valuable car but i have never seen one in the UK myself and i have been going to car shows for 30+ years (52) ..that is the kind of 1:1 i would want to own 1

Yeah his car was very cool; favourite car at the show next to my own car. This was the first time I saw it up close in person and it is quite original featuring various period window stickers, and original interior. He even has a NOS 8 track player and a whole case of 8 tracks for it. This particular A&W show was a fundraiser for multiple sclerosis, not sure they have one every week though I think the next one is in July here. They are pretty nice shows, only 3 hours, smaller parking lot, and less spectators and more just the car owners so it’s very nice to attend.
