old and rusty nova

Working on a new project, this is the AMT "Old pro" nova kit.

being a rather poor kit with many known issues, i decided to try and make it into an old and rusty vehicle

used some chipping and other weathering techniques I'm trying to build a car that has been neglected and is slowly rusting away.

I don't know, I kinda like this kit. Like the AMT 40 Ford, everyone has built at least one, sort of a right of passage to becoming a car modeler.

Beautiful!! I remember seeing my share of Nova's in MN that were in that shape pulling stupid money.
