Rodent Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Ladies and Gentlemen, What color was the flat metal plate between the engine and bellhousing painted on a 4-speed 426 Hemi? Or for that matter, any 1960s MOPAR engine? Engine color, black, not painted, etc.? I realize that most of it isn't visible, but a little of it is behind the oil pan. TIA

TIA it appears to be painted at the same time as the block...so exposed edge engine colour...if just a model of assembled engine? do not worry...HEMI orange.... just behind the oil pan i would think only where paint can reach? so some unpainted metal yes...but i am no expert! i know The muscle car modler talks about this in one video it sounds familiar so i think not much paint behind the oil pan?
