nickfzr61 Posted July 18 Posted July 18 Check out this shot ChatGPT created of my Challenger with my Revell Hemi Cuda model. This is my actual car. Wild. 9
VanGoGo Posted July 18 Posted July 18 While the image looks very nice (better than most people could draw or paint), notice how AI never quite gets the details right...like the HEMI lettering on the billboards, and possibly the tail lights and lettering on tires. I used to draw muscle car cartoons and tried some AI stuff...it tends to fudge alot of the details. It is impressive technology, but just some how its not quite right. 3

Absolutely but its alot cheaper and easier to use compared to purchasing Photoshop and learning how to use it. Plus my kids got a kick out of it.
SpeedAndViolence Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Chat GTP is absolutely crazy... I threw out a couple of project ideas based on Dave Kindig's build style..... and....just.....well.... My brain melted.
MeatMan Posted Thursday at 12:46 PM Posted Thursday at 12:46 PM My wife used a pic of my late brother next to his car in the 80s and asked it to identify the year of the car using one of the AI sites. It did well but didn't quite nail it. The car was a 75 and the AI said it was a 77 - 80.
VanGoGo Posted Thursday at 07:10 PM Posted Thursday at 07:10 PM I've tried animating a drawing with AI, it is difficult writing the prompts, AI doesn't undertand the parts/pieces of the drawing I'm attempting to animate, but I see potential, might figure it out someday. jiggleFISH.mp4

How did the picture come out? 4 hours ago, VanGoGo said: I've tried animating a drawing with AI, it is difficult writing the prompts, AI doesn't undertand the parts/pieces of the drawing I'm attempting to animate, but I see potential, might figure it out someday. jiggleFISH.mp4 Is that the video it created? Looks pretty cool. The thing I didn’t point out is the pictures below are what I uploaded and AI created the picture I posted. Looks like it combined pictures of other Challengers with mine to get that angle. Notice on my car the AI gas cap is changed and the Bumble Bee Stripe is missing. Wheels are a little different too. Not sure what it used to change the perspective of the model. Edited Thursday at 11:11 PM by nickfzr61
Ceaser_Salad Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Perhaps ChatGPT is cheaper upfront, but every single prompt wastes a good amount of water. No real price on that. Sweet build!
