This thing has been gnawing at my brain since I bought it. Originally wanted to build one box stock, turns out I got took and the seller was less than honest. Anyway lemons lemonade and all that, here's the plan. Injected nailhead, ford nine, wire fronts with no brakes and stupid wide rubber out back. Already scratch built some ladder bars and swapped the front axle.  Flat black or candy paint, not sure yet. I'll make something out of this mess.

I'm a sucker for flat black!

If I can find a mr horsepower decal, that's my vision. Going to scratch build an aluminum firewall as well.

Is that the Lindberg Tall-T?

I had one and just gave up on it.

Your ideas look great!

It is the Lindbergh. Why did you give up on yours?

I just hated the wheels in the kit, and the lousy engine.

I should have persisted the way you have.

Did yours have the AMT '34 Ford Pickup Chrome Tree?

Mine Did it was so out of place in the box.

Yes, it had that parts tree, pretty much nothing else. It was a "sealed" kit, liberated of most of the good parts and re-sealed. Buyer beware in my case, I know to never deal with that vendor again.

There were good parts in that kit?

More progress on this mess. Made a pair of coil overs and ended up scratch building the entire rear portion of the chassis. Getting the ride height where I wanted it was fun. I'm going for an street driven old school "altered" look,if there is such a thing. Fuel altered's are some of my favorite cars to watch. Waiting on the ten spoke front wheels to show up, those will really pull the look together, and I can set the front height. We'll see what that's going to involve.  Thanks for looking. 👍👍

Done a bit work more the past couple nights. Moved the front axle, and engine forward, just copied the front mount with some .080 square and shaved off the original. Mocked up a blower, I really want hilborn injection on this, but I needed something for reference. Got most of the firewall made. This is 2024 .025 aluminum sheet. It polishes to a mirror very easily. Probably the last piece going on the car during assembly, it scratches easily as well. Thanks for looking 👍👍

This is a cool Hot Rod! I had a '26 Tall T back in the '80s. I always wanted to build it up, but never did. I REALLY dig what you're doing with this one.

Thanks! I'm trying to salvage a raw deal. I'll tell you, everything on this build is tight! No room for anything. The interior will be a challenge, I may try opening the doors, body mods are something I've done VERY little of.
