Does anyone currently offer a Detroit Diesel 6-71 engine? Either in resin or 3D print? I'm looking for one for a future project.

there files for a free one on cults. Its 1/10 scale and goes together like a heller kit but it scales down to 1/24 and 1/25 well. I dont think it had a gearbox with it though.  just search detroit diesel and I'm sure plenty more options will show up too.

The only one I know that makes them is Sourkraut and he's been out for some time now. I know I could use some too, but I don't have a printer.

6-71 or 6v-71? Just wanting to confirm. I've gotten a resin 6v-71 off ebay from one of the Australian aftermarket companies. I think I got a 6-71 from Moluminum though unfortunately Jamie is having some serious health issues. There probably won't be any more from him but you might find one in the wild somewhere.

A whole slew of Detroit 71- and 92-series engines are coming soon from Scale Speed Garage; prints will likely be offered by VCG Resins later this year.

Is a 4-71 among those? That's one I've really been after.

Hey Brian! We are working on the V71 series first (and as we speak, actually!). But, we do have plans to do the inline 71 series as well. Since most of the parts on these engines are modular, it will really just be the blocks and a few other parts that will need to be reworked. But, just to give you a realistic expectation, it will be into next year before we are working on the Inline series.

Thanks for the update, I will certainly be one of your first customers.
