Just a minor update(Haven't worked on it much due to other priorities).Installed the engine, front and rear suspension components.Next up;I have to fabricate exhaust manifolds and cross-over pipes to tie in with the exhaust system. 2009_0530Spock0011.jpg

Here is one of the completed exhaust manifolds.I made it out of an old sprue and used sheet plastic to enlarge the exhaust flanges.(They may have to be enlarged).I painted then rust colored which is realistic for an un-restored example .I may paint them steel to represent a restored, hot tanked exhaust manifold. 2009_0601Spock0027.jpg

Here is the completed crossover pipe installed.Next I have to use the Testor's Burnt metal to match the exhaust manifolds. 2009_0608Spock0017.jpg

Seems you finially beat me at one of my own games, trying to match paint colors ! Just how or where did you manage to match the paint on the block sir ? We Early Ford Enthusiasts want to know ............. Long live FLAT HEADS ! Ed Shaver

Well I started with Tamiya Deep Green(XF-26) and added Tamiya Flat White(XF-2) until it mached the color of the Engine of the '48 Lincoln that I found on the internet.
