1st 700 Quad Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Does anyone know if any of the resin casters or 3D printers offers a round gas can similar to the one in the photo? I need a couple for a build. Thanks Steve 1
Bainford Posted August 7 Posted August 7 The original 1960 Ford F-100 had two exactly like that. I think the 1960 Chev pickup had a couple, too. I see the new release of the 1960 F-100 shows one on the box, so there should be one or two there.

stavanzer Posted Saturday at 02:21 PM Posted Saturday at 02:21 PM There are 2 of those can in the New Round2 1960 & 1963 Ford Pickups.
NitroMarty Posted Sunday at 12:05 AM Posted Sunday at 12:05 AM Wow.... The can in the picture is a big flashback for me. As a young kid I lived with my parents in an old turn of the century farm house, that relied on a trio of fuel oil burning stoves for heat in the winter. I remember going with Dad to the gas station to fill cans that looked exactly like that one every Friday.
sidcharles Posted Sunday at 01:54 AM Posted Sunday at 01:54 AM but back to the original question is there? $36 buck for a kit which has no interest but the (2) cans isn't a great deal to me.
stavanzer Posted Sunday at 02:29 AM Posted Sunday at 02:29 AM A caster called Escort 5000 did some about 25 years ago. I have about 4 of them left. The Round2 /AMT '64 Ford Galaxie Mod Stock kit has one. Best I can do for you.
1st 700 Quad Posted Sunday at 02:49 AM Author Posted Sunday at 02:49 AM Thanks, turns out I already had what I needed from the 1960 Ford p/u. Steve 1
