Mothersworry Posted Monday at 10:18 PM Posted Monday at 10:18 PM (edited) A little more progress on the Tasca Ford Galaxie lightweight. Interior is nearly done, the lightweight Bostrom bucket seats I mastered are now available from Kevin @ Missing Link Resins. Email him at kawifreek@msn.com More pics of the seats are in the Industry Corner...Car aftermarket / Resin / 3d printed forum. Edited Monday at 10:52 PM by Mothersworry 9
FoMoCo66 Posted Tuesday at 12:19 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:19 AM Nice work, how did you modify the interior from the convertible one?

Thank you fer yer comment. The interior is from Model Car World. The interior conversion included the modified interior shell, modified dashboard, 2 seats and a steering wheel. Bought abuncha of them 10 or 15 years ago when Mr. Dodge owned Model Car World. Castings are a bit rough but workable, certainly easier than scratch building a correct interior. The included seats didn't work fer me so I whipped one up and had resin copies made.
Brutalform Posted Tuesday at 02:07 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:07 AM Looks like a perfect lightweight interior to me. From the buckets to the black floor mat. You did a great job on the details. I wish I could get one or two more of those resin tubs.

Thank you fer yer comment, The Model Car World website currently shows the '63 Ford Lightweight interior as available...for $16.00. It is in the the parts and accessories section, there is no photo but it is apparently available.
TECHMAN Posted Tuesday at 11:59 AM Posted Tuesday at 11:59 AM Wow!!!! At first glance, thought I was looking at photos of the real thing. Beautiful work. DJ
gtx6970 Posted Tuesday at 01:43 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:43 PM Nailed it. I like this one , A LOT !!!!!! I have these decals and a kit in the stash for a someday build. And was wondering what was wrong with the interior. So pulled it and noticed its a convertible tub . Now I'll have to decide if I want to get that far into a conversion . But I REALLLLLLLY like the Bostrom seats you did . I need to get a few pairs from Missing LInk maybe I think
Brutalform Posted yesterday at 01:34 AM Posted yesterday at 01:34 AM I have these decals as well and definitely want to do this build. Sadly, these decals now might be hard to come by as Bruce Sadewater passed away.

There is a Model Car World site also, but it deals with mostly 1:18 scale stuff.
