1/24 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Coupe

Laid out all the interior parts


Glued the pedals, center console and seatbelt fasteners in


Then the gearstick, seats, sidepanels



Then the steeringwheel


And interior is done!



I really like how it turned out

About that engine...... Was trying to find a suitable wire from my stash to make the plugwires. Didn't have one. So decided to cut open an old HDMI cable that gave me this nice looking red one  So onto the engine it went



Then glued the intake manifold


And into the engine bay it went

Finished the wires, added the missing parts and now i can call the engine pretty much done!  Looks pretty neat if you ask me 



Then dropped the engine into the chassis


And added the suspension parts


The engine bay is pretty small in this, but looks really cool I really like it

Stole this thingy from my partner  I think its some kind of scent oil diffuser, but its also great for keeping the water for the decals warm. 


Worked like a charm! Got the badged and other decals on



And finally the body got its clear coat too



Will let it dry for a few days. In the meantime, i might do some work on my other builds

Absolutely lovely. Something people don't realize these days is how many Porsches you saw running around in more muted color combinations like this one back in the 80s!

Thank you! I really love these non-mainstream paintjobs 😁 I'm not that fan of painting my models in regular black or red and call it a day.

Agreed, you may as well do something out of the ordinary! (My Revell Targa in Tamiya Coral Blue)

Thanks for the decal water warmer idea. Now I have to find one of those things.
