Tap-to-pay unauthorized charge issues: maybe real, maybe not, but worth considering

My CC's allow me to get a text on my phone for every trans made, debit or credit.  So easy to track valid trans and any fraud. If you get a charge you don't know.....call that second and it will be placed in a hold....then you can fight it. thx

RFID scanner range should be less than 1/2 inch from the tap reader screen. However, since this post piqued my curiosity, I did a little research and found this article: https://rfidtag.com/how-far-can-rfid-track-a-complete-guide-to-rfid-tracking-range/.

I guess it's time to wrap my wallet in radio wave absorbing material and start wearing my tin-foil hat... (SERIOUSLY, I'm checking into RFID protection methods)

Yessir! I get texts as well as e-mails for each debit card or credit card transaction.

I do the same on my checking/saving too.......info is king!!!
