Andria H Posted Saturday at 11:48 PM Posted Saturday at 11:48 PM Start on a popular yet widely disliked kit. I started with Revell '56 F100 rear fenders, a 429 Cobra Jet block/4 speed transmission to make a more appropriate powertrain, and a few Mobius parts. The burrs on the dash have been trimmed and the dash edge properly beveled since these photos, and I may use a wood rimmed sport steering wheel as fitted to Mustangs, Gran Torinos and Broncos instead of the 2-spoke standard wheel. 1

Andria H Posted 47 minutes ago Author Posted 47 minutes ago Update. Engine is mostly together (still needs alternator, air conditioning pump, battery, wiper fluid reservoir, air filter & a few other things), cab is on the frame, interior is together, and glass is in. I will try to salvage a CAM2/Diehard decal from a Bobby Allison Matador decal sheet to use on the back window along with a couple of other contingency decals there & under the hood, and have yet to put together the driveline/transfer case/exhaust system, or put on the bed. For such a reviled kit, I really don't think it's so bad, no worse than the Deserter/Sodbuster or Warlock/D100 reissues or the IHC Scouts AMT inherited from Ertl.
