L.I.A.R.S Model Car Show 2025

Hi All,

I am not a member of the Liars group, but attend the show yearly and figured I can help get the word out. It’s a great show and I look forward to attending again.

Awesome! I plan on bringing stuff for the first time to put on the table. Looking forward to it and hope to meet you as well.

I agree, unique for sure. I’ll be there though and bringing stuff for the first time. Looking forward to it!

It is a good show, lots of awards are given out.

Another club (LISM... Long Island Scale Modelers) has a show in late March at the same venue. They are mainly a military club, but we support the show as they have lots of car categories.

I’m looking forward to it. I’ve been twice and really enjoyed it. This year, it will be my first time bringing anything to a show. I just sent an email on the LIARS group website to see if someone could share the entry form and rules. It was not opening for me on the website.

There is something wrong with the website lately.

The LIARS FB page is up, the moderator is Dave. Ask him to scan the rules and post them. I will shoot him a text and ask him as well.

EDIT: I have the rules in a heic format.. unable to post here. I asked Dave to post it to FB or I'll try myself.

Great thanks I see it. If there is anyway you can get the registration form that would be great and save me some time the day of the show. If not, no big deal. I appreciate your help! Hope to meet you.

I'm having no luck posting the rules right now. I have a jpeg of it finally. I'll try again later.

The LIARS web site is down right now. The forms used to be available. 

What I'm doing is, create a word document for my entries and will tape it to the form when I get there.

Ok... this is the new LIARS web site.

Google takes you to the inactive site, so this is the only way to get there. You'll find all the contest information there.

From what I gather, the web master for the old site passed away and he had the password, etc that cannot be retrieved.

Locked and loaded for tomorrow's show.

I did pretty well, 3 awards.

1st in open wheel comp with the '63 Corvette modified, same car best interior. And 2nd place with my GMC wrecker.

I was vending so I didnt get around the tables too much.

The wire wheels on the Buick are from Heath's Model Works LLC and are spectacular. They made the trek from West Sand Lake NY.

These were the Dodge Demon club entries, judging was people's choice.

Lenny in the club won, he put a slant 6 in his entry.

It was a great show! Happy we got to chat a little Bob. As I stated it was my first time bringing anything and I was left speechless by the recognition my builds received. I was not expecting any of this but I took first in euro/touring/low rider with my beetle, and 3rd in both the theme class and street rod class. Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year.

It was nice to meet you too. I missed a lot of the builds, but nice to see you picked up some awards. I was very surprised that I got 3 myself.

Post your award winning builds when you get a chance. Again. I wasn't able to get around to see too much.
