I really hope with all this reissuing of old kits. That at some point they do the Mr. Unswitchable GTO.

The most unique parts of this kit are the body and the interior "tub" and if that tooling survived, it should be able to be re issued, as the chassis is the same as the Judge funny car.

The body got converted back to stock.  Look at the inside of any of the reissue '67 GTO bodies, and you'll see where the wheel openings were moved back to stock, and the exhaust holes in the deck lid area were filled in.
