Painted the cab using MCW lacquers.  For the flat bed I primed with Mr Surfacer Mahogany. I used different wood tone craft paints to do the stakes along with different brushes to try to achieve the wood look. The rest of the weathering is all done with craft paints and various layers. I really like how this one turned out.

Very well done, and terrific job on weathering the wood - looks quite real!

Thank you very much 😀

Ultra realistic weathering, especially the wood. I like the two-tone paint, great color scheme. Nice work.

Thanks a lot !

Thank you all. I did a build up of the AMT Ford LNT8000 Plow truck Last year. If you guys are interested I can find some pics and post that too.

I’m late to this party,  nice job on this one, Shawn . Not Ford’s finest hour in a handsome design but very functional and a hard working truck. You did a great job on a somewhat challenging kit. You nailed the look and the weathering on the wood sides is spot on. Also a great color combination, looks every bit of a well taken care of farm truck. Super good job. I like it a lot.

Thank you for the kind words Jeff… I always thought these trucks were cool looking but I love any old Cab over. Kit was a lot of fun and actually very little trouble in assembly !
