jjsipes Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Started some gathering and prep work for the Meng 1966 GT40 as driven by Ken Miles. If anyone has some pictures they'd like to share please do so. The Meng kit seems pretty decent. Just started to prep and prime some parts. 6

meechum68 Posted September 29 Posted September 29 I wish I had gotten some interior and engine ones. I think I could of gotten interior ones had I done the tour, but I really don't know.
Technics Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Have this one in the stash, look forward to seeing this being built.
The Junkman Posted October 8 Posted October 8 (edited) Original, restored, or a "continuation"? I noticed the 50th Anniversary badge on the fender and Shelby was never shy about "restarting" production of popular models. Edited October 8 by The Junkman 1

jjsipes Posted October 18 Author Posted October 18 Trying to get some painting done before cold weather setting in the Mid-Atlantic region. I ordered some Arcadian Blue from MCW Automotive Paints. Sprayed the inside of the upper body Tamita Semi-gloss Black, the inside of the lower half of the body and interior floor Tamiya Blue. Taped the inside of the body up, primed and airbrushed the outside. 1
