Monty Posted October 2 Posted October 2 (edited) Looking for a liquid mask that covers well and can handle lacquer paints if need be. Hoping there’s one particular brand that stands out from all others. I’d also appreciate pics of any work you’ve done using the brand you recommended. Don’t need any alternative masking methods at the moment. Edited October 2 by Monty
Shark Posted October 2 Posted October 2 The few liquid masks I have seen cautioned against using lacquer paint.
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 2 Posted October 2 (edited) I've used Micro Mark's liquid mask successfully with Testors and Duplicolor lacquers. Just don't hammer it and don't use WATER BASED paint. https://www.bnamodelworld.com/microscale-mi-7-micro-mask-liquid-masking-medium Edited October 2 by Ace-Garageguy punctiliousness

Radretireddad Posted Tuesday at 03:51 AM Posted Tuesday at 03:51 AM I’ve been using Vallejo liquid mask with great success.
