Jay Lankford Posted yesterday at 12:46 AM Posted yesterday at 12:46 AM This is my first post. My version of the Revell Kenworth dump truck. I built it on my dining room table and painted most of it in my garage. For what it's worth, I'm 69 years old. 4
vincen47 Posted yesterday at 01:20 AM Posted yesterday at 01:20 AM Welcome aboard! Nice build. I like the paint choices and detail trim. I hope to see more in the future. 1
Jay Lankford Posted yesterday at 01:29 AM Author Posted yesterday at 01:29 AM Thanks for that welcome and kind words. First build in a long time. Since 08'. Here is my version of the original issue Revell Honest John missile transporter in 1:48 scale. Built circ. 2000. 3
Jay Lankford Posted yesterday at 11:36 AM Author Posted yesterday at 11:36 AM Hood down. The kit I used to build this model was purchased at Old Model Kits. Com. A great resource. 2
Biggu Posted yesterday at 02:54 PM Posted yesterday at 02:54 PM That turned out excellently ! Love the extra details. Very clean and precise. I will have to refer to this when I build mine. Great job
Jay Lankford Posted yesterday at 04:20 PM Author Posted yesterday at 04:20 PM Kind words indeed, from a builder of your caliber. Not having built a model in almost twenty years, photo etching and 3D printing didn't exist. Anything seems possible now, and having perused some of your work and others, mine seems "novice". 1
