Chrome Bullets for Customizing

Looking for a source of various sizes of chrome bullets for grills, bumpers, etc. I thought that I might find something at a craft store, to no avail. Perhaps a modeler out there has a tip to making these?

You could try turning some styrene rod on a lathe,or dremel. I've made many small, round parts on my dremel (ignition coils, steering columns) and have seen members here make brake and headlight lenses. Left over sprue has those small nubs everywhere, those are halfway to the shape your looking for, and in different diameters. Etsy has small bullet shaped charms (i did a 2 second search)

This is suggested with VERY little thought (how I do my best work).

 

Make one stick (wood, styrene, stirrer from my drink) the profile of the bullet(s) you want. Poke that into Play-Doh™ several times. Drip in some epoxy & let cure. 

Pull them out, stick them to a popsicle stick and give 'em a spray.
