Mike 1017 Posted Sunday at 04:09 PM Posted Sunday at 04:09 PM UPS may begin disposing imported packages over customs issues 1
SpeedAndViolence Posted Tuesday at 10:11 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:11 PM (edited) Yeeeeeeeahhh.... So check this out... This is a screenshot of the shipping details of a package that I'm waiting on: This the *second* consecutive package from Spotmodel that UPS has dorked up. This package I'm waiting on, is full of 'store credit' items, stemming from the refund of the *first* package that UPS lost back in March of this year, and didn't bother to refund until last month!! One day to get from Spain to Germany to Kentucky. Several weeks sitting in Kentucky. Our ability to create bureaucracy knows no limits. 1
Mark C. Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Sooner or later, people will get tired of this and stop ordering from outside the country. Hmmm… 1

Do you know where I can find the Audi Quattro Sport S1, or the BMW M8 GTE kits here in the US? Associated aftermarket decals and photo-etch that go with them? What about Studio27, Top Studio, Sakatsu? If you know where to find items like these here stateside, don't be holding out on your fellow model building brothers. Don't you remember? That's in the chapter 'Be a good modeling Bro' on page 5, 2nd paragraph of the 2025 edition of the Model Cars Magazine Forums Guidebook. You have read through it right? 😄 1

You have read through it right? 😄 I think you may have taken that comment the wrong way. I read it as, people will get tired of the higher costs and unreliable service and may decide that ordering from overseas is currently not a viable option. The don't jump to conclusions clause is in the appendix. Maybe you haven't gotten that far yet. 😄 1

The idiocy that led to this situation is inexcusable, but that’s as far as I’m going with it. I wish you the best of luck in sourcing your favourite modelling products. 1
