junkyardjeff Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Picked up a partial 41 and going to build it with parts in stock,41 Plymouth six and a Camaro front suspension and hood will have the hole filled. 4
TopherMcGinnis Posted October 18 Posted October 18 That Slant 8 that was installed in the Sidewinder would be killer in there.
junkyardjeff Posted October 18 Author Posted October 18 Making it look like a old race car put back on the street. 2
junkyardjeff Posted October 18 Author Posted October 18 Most likely going to be in primer if I can get the interior out but might see if I can smooth out the hood without disturbing the flames.
Rob Hall Posted October 19 Posted October 19 (edited) I've never seen a stock '37-42 Willys coupe IRL, presumably 99% that still exist are hot rods. Kinda neat looking in stock form, esp. the '39 with the funky headlights and forward slanting nose. Edited October 19 by Rob Hall 3
junkyardjeff Posted October 19 Author Posted October 19 I like the 37 to 39 better but most get the 40 to 42 front clip. 1
junkyardjeff Posted yesterday at 02:15 AM Author Posted yesterday at 02:15 AM Was hoping it would be a quick.build but damaged the paint trying to get the flames off so it got repainted in Testers yellow. Had some reaction to the paint I used on the interior so it's getting redone and still waiting on the unbuilt engine to arrive as the one I have is missing parts. 1
customline Posted 3 minutes ago Posted 3 minutes ago Yup. That's standard around here, Jeff. I just bought a half gallon of 99.9 IPA and a gallon of commercial grade grill and oven cleaner. 😕
