FoMoCo66 Posted Friday at 10:42 PM Posted Friday at 10:42 PM Amazing work there, you need to think about resin casting this stuff and selling it. Absolutely superb work that some people with your particularity but not the skills might want! 1

Absolutely superb work that some people with your particularity but not the skills might want! Thank you Elliot. I am retired though and that sounds like a four letter word.😬 Sorry.🥴 Edit: That’s kinda why I blather on about how I do some things. There are many members here who are far above my skill level, but maybe there are some newbie’s or younger ones who want to expand their skills that might benefit from my own misadventures. Plus, I am fairly recently back to the hobby so some of my methods and ideas are unorthodox and half baked which may lead folks to think outside the box.🙂 Edited Friday at 11:13 PM by NOBLNG 1 1
Big Messer Posted Friday at 10:53 PM Posted Friday at 10:53 PM Great job!. It would be interesting, when finished, to take a pic of it next to a stock one. Just for funsies... 1

customline Posted Saturday at 01:53 AM Posted Saturday at 01:53 AM The trim mods you did have this old stovebolt looking mighty crisp, Greg. In fact, it is out standing 😯 2
Mark W Posted Saturday at 02:20 AM Posted Saturday at 02:20 AM Some really good things going on here, your attention to detail is impressive. And the hood details…. that’s well beyond my skill level. 1
Chris V Posted Saturday at 10:50 AM Posted Saturday at 10:50 AM I unenthuisatically opened this topic, expecting to see just another box stock “gasser” build of the old AMT kit… What I found exceeded my wildest imagination: I deeply admire the effort you’re putting into correcting the (many) flaws of the kit! Another thing you may want to correct is the lower leading edge of the front fenders: The kit fenders have an aestethic, but incorrect, bulging shape, whereas the real fender has more of a straight line with a slight downwards taper towards the middle. 1
