TECHMAN Posted Friday at 07:22 PM Posted Friday at 07:22 PM With the news about the release of a NEW kit coming next fall, I wonder about this: How many of the kits do each of you plan to buy, and WHAT are you planning to build out of each of them?????? I have pictures of my Dad with his logging trucks, lumber trucks, and trucks pulling lowboys, plus pulling belly-dump trailer. So, I guess that my future plans are gonna require four, hope they don't "break the bank"!!!!! 😉 Anyhow, whatcha got planned???? DJ

Will watch to see the trucks you build, we moved here to central Kentucky, so don't have much "oil field activity" around here, but we moved here from East Texas, and were only about 15 miles from the "World's Richest Acre" in Kilgore, Texas. Saw a LOT of oil field trucks back then...... DJ 1
Jim B Posted Saturday at 02:28 PM Posted Saturday at 02:28 PM Depending on the price & quality, one, possibly two. 1
Carmak Posted Monday at 05:29 PM Posted Monday at 05:29 PM The Mack B61 is going to be the first readily available early 50’s (1953) era commercial truck kit. It really opens up possibilities we don't currently have. My first thought is Mack combined with an AMT Haul Away car carrier trailer. It will allow any combination or loads as a Mack would look right pulling a load of Fords, GM’s, Mopars or AMC’s I will buy a few just for this. 2

TECHMAN Posted Monday at 09:02 PM Author Posted Monday at 09:02 PM LES I've built a 1955 GMC (1/25) AITM truck, a 1956 Mack LT (1/25) AITM, and have a GMC 950 & B61 Mack cab, all AITM..... For those of us that build 1/25 scale, the prospect of a 1/25 scale Kit of such an iconic truck is exciting, to say the least...... Cool thing about the B61, it was built from 1953 to 1966, so will offer the builders quite a few year spread if they're trying to do a "period build".... DJ ps- What 1955 truck are you building, and in what scale?????
