chryslerjunkandstuff Posted November 5 Posted November 5 (edited) Not too sure if this is the right place to post this or not, feel free to remove this if need be! Alls I do know, is that there needs to be more diecast-centric sections on this board -> diecast trade section, diecast wanted section, etc., etc.. Anyhow, THIS is an apparently Limited Edition diecast by Salvat, from Mexico, I'd assume, in 1/24 scale, of a, what was apparently called a Phantom Turbo across the border, but is called a LeBaron up here in the states : -> ^^^ This thing is rad! I need to get hands on one, as it is likely the only way that I can build THIS for my ongoing series of Indy Pace Car builds : SO, does anybody have an extra Chrysler Phantom diecast that they'd be willing to part with?? I have many car kits, parts, or even pocket sized presidential portrait trading cards that I could trade to ya for it!! I just wish I had found these diecasts when they were still widely available, as there are a handful of em that I'd love to have.. Edited November 5 by chryslerjunkandstuff 2
Geno Posted Wednesday at 02:03 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:03 PM I have quite a few of the Salvat branded models, although curbside, the are accurate and well done. I've gotten all of mine from Ebay sellers. And all at reasonable prices. I just had to be patient for them to pop up AT those reasonable prices. Here's the ones I have. The Shelby Mustang on the right in the last pic. I have more, but dont have pics of them yet.😊 1
Big Messer Posted Wednesday at 02:51 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:51 PM Goodwill has an auctions page where you can find good deals from time to time, but bidders are advised to check the pics real good, because descriptions are not that great: https://shopgoodwill.com/categories/listing?st&sg&c=448&s&lp=0&hp=999999&sbn&spo=false&snpo=false&socs=false&sd=false&sca=false&caed=4%2F26%2F2023&cadb=7&scs=false&sis=false&col=1&p=1&ps=40&desc=false&ss=0&UseBuyerPrefs=true&sus=false&cln=2&catIds=-1%2C4%2C448&pn&wc=false&mci=false&hmt=false&layout=grid&ihp Sometimes diecasts wander into this page also: https://shopgoodwill.com/categories/listing?st&sg&c=418&s&lp=0&hp=999999&sbn&spo=false&snpo=false&socs=false&sd=false&sca=false&caed=4%2F26%2F2023&cadb=7&scs=false&sis=false&col=1&p=1&ps=40&desc=false&ss=0&UseBuyerPrefs=true&sus=false&cln=2&catIds=-1%2C8%2C418&pn&wc=false&mci=false&hmt=false&layout=grid&ihp

I second this. Have several diecasts that can't be sold (no boxes, defects or a few missing small parts) and I want to get rid of. They are good for parts or customizing into something else.

Just add diecast to your trade title and be clear you're looking for a diecast. Folk have traded magazines amd air brushes before. Just be sure to report the inevitible my friend has that part when you get them please so we can boot them.
