Well it’s almost time to embark on another parts box build. Decided that last winters build was easy enough so I’d do another (I seem to have lots of iterations of Roth’s tweedy pie). Pulled a previous glue bomb Tempest 4 with 4-71 blower from a vintage Attempt 1 that was in line for a restore and a set of wheels and tires  from a 22 jr (someday I’ll build em I swear). I’ll be using the body and frame from the 86 version of the tweedy pie,the T bucket molded in lovely orange. Should be a fun side project.
The pile o parts as it sits so far.

Oh yeah, this will be cool, especially with the turtle deck. I saw one this weekend that I liked a lot and you might use it for inspiration. Also I think a quick change would really suit this project.20251121_105906.jpg.12474990a4a65eb73976c90a4892bab2.jpg

That a neat bucket for sure there Ace, I had initially wanted to do a flathead build but my supply is dwindling so I decided for a little unorthodox engine this time!
thank you for sharing.

Looks pretty good, IMHO I think the rear axle should be moved back to look less like a tweedy pie with a turtle deck slapped on.

It’s kinda just placed atm, I have plans to move the rear suspension back. I have to revamp the rear frame portion for the rear buggy spring mount. I had thought of using the amt frame but decided against it. Thanks for looking and sharing your thoughts.

Tweedy Pie with a turtle deck sounds ok to me 😂

Nice start!!  Love a T-bucket!

Thank you Jim, and hope I can get to to look like the image in my head lol.

Changes happen, decided that my efforts to lengthen the frame were not to my liking so I dug through the small bin of model T parts that I still have(it’s not a lot anymore) and found a useable frame, harvested the bits I needed from the tweedy pie frame and merged them together, it moves the rear axle back to where it needs to be. Also scrounged a better looking turtle deck from the bin as well.

Not to steal your thread, here. But I have a question and maybe you can help.  I sell parts a guy who owns a pretty awesome 27 model T on a 32 frame. He wants to commission a build. However, when I look at his tub and turtle deck they're flush at the top. The AMT 25' has a huge height difference between the two. Do I chop the tub or raise the turtle deck? He says the steel is all original and nothing is modified. I know absolutely nothing about T's.
