Fantastic build, great detail and execution. Keep up the good work.

Thank you very much, Chuck. About keeping up, man, at times this has become easier said than done. But all is OK now and am back at the bench. Thank you sincerely for commenting, means a lot to me.  Mike..

Outstanding in every way!

Dear Carl, thank you for remembering. You are a fine man and a wonderful soul. This was the last model finished before my long pause, now 5 years ago. One finished this year last spring, another active now on the bench. Do your best and go for it!  Mike..

Brass built replica, finished 2020. With the exclusive help of the Snizek Family (builders/owners), 100s of exclusive digital photos showing every stage of the new (replica) car from late 60s. Very intense project. I was not allowed to post w/o family approval! Step by step, first show my build, then wait for approval. This is the finished brass model w/ full family approval. I will not show the original photos of the real build.

Here the finished, real car, with founder/builder Mr. Snizek and son Scott, now the boss.

Getting started, the tub, from original Ford diagrams, just using more side reinforcement, knowing that bending brass sheet over the tub will need some force applied....

The chassis, was well known and used by many from back in the day.

Now the front end. This was dramatic, being the most difficult front suspension I've ever built. Scott only showed 1 step at a time, knowing if it's not right, then the project closes down. I had agreed to these terms at the very beginning. This was the most intense endeavor, going on for a month. Read, back in my best days, working daily on a project!  Only 1 photo now....too intense to do a step-by-step photo session....

Thanks for viewing, Mike..

Very much appreciated, Kelly. This was a very intense project and I'm utterly grateful for the support from the real Pacers Race Team. Even the original builder, the father, and a couple of his original team offered encouragement. How good is that for a modeller's heart? Thanks for commenting!  Mike..

What a fantastic build, Mike! I say build, but it truly is a work of art, a labor of passion and precision that has culminated in a priceless tribute to the Snizek family. Embarking on a tribute build is very demanding and requires a lot of research while eliminating the freedom that a fictional build offers to the modeler who work on it.  I admire modelers like you who are dedicated to using brass, knowing that it presents many challenges for the fabrication of body panels among others.  You clearly have incredible talent; the photos speak for themselves!

Donating your models to the NHRA museum proves their relevance and your great generosity; it will allow future generations to appreciate your immense talent.

Long life to you, my friend! 🎩

Cheers to that, young man! This model was not my 1st absolute replica, but possibly my last one. But what a wonderful modelling experience. All of them. 3 FEDs and 2 FAs, the 3rd FA is in planning. A Bantam, 1:16, modelling the current fastest car in Europe. I have the 3D body, but it will need a ton of work, being way too wide and too tall at the doors. Body work is enjoyable though, time will tell. Once again Francis, your eloquence is the very best medicine out there, period. And I thank you most kindly for commenting. Mike..
