I sure could use a picture of this engine done. I find the pics on the net are all of the model kit engine, and its not quite like the AMT Willys Van engine. I need visual help! LOL

My 1st wire/plumb job!

Thanks in advance.

No, the distibutor is supposed to be in the front, so you can see it and work on it easily....... B);)

Thanks, that helps. My problem is that I have had GM's all my life...the distributor is supposed to be in the back! LOL...I don't quite understand the fuel/magneto set up, and none of those have the same as the kit. Maybe I'll copy those pics!

 Distributors should always be in front...better airflow!

here are a few SOHCs....wiring is the same even on the models...and fuel is fuel...tank to pump to carb(s)

And guys please put your real names somewhere..forum rules B)

The Willy's panel was a re-bodied

Malco Gasser coupe kit.

The Malco gasser was a very famous

car in it's time. There should be many

pictures on Google.

RIGHT ON! I found several pics of the exact motor that's in the kit. There are many differences from the 427 kits out there and the one Ohio George built.
