A quick peek at my Fairlane I purchased in a bag at Auto Rama several years ago for 10 bucks along with a bagged '62 Plymouth.

This one should be under glass in late February.

That was the very first model car i ever built i was 10 waking home from school stopped in the RX drug store on the corner saw the AMT 3-in-1 kit it was $1.49 and that was in May of 1962 it started a lifelong hobby for me 15 years ago i found one in the box in perfect shape all the parts had to have the chrome redone i paid $140.00 for it it is still on the shelf i want to build it but not sure of the colors and the way 3 years ago i was at a local show found a total stock unpainted in good shape for $15.00 that one i rebuilt can't wait to see how you go with this one.

Nice looking model for sure, I wasn't afforded the luxury of keeping the stock appearance.

The prior owner had lost the frame and cut a hole in the hood, (looked like they used a hot butter knife), so this one rides on the Revell '64 Thunderbolt frame and will lean more toward a super stock look when completed.

The '64 Thunderbolt frame is a good choice for this. I have and original 'AMT '63 I'm working on and have the same frame underneath,

Cool project, and congrats on the score! Good to know there's still treasures out there waiting to be found. Really looking forward to your progress on this one.
