1/8 Scale Mercedes 300SL from IXO Collections

I've just finished building this huge (1/8 scale) Mercedes 300SL from IXO Collections.

My twin brother, Larry, bought it on a 'Black Friday' one-day sale and had it sent to me for building since he was too busy at this time of year with his senior's rock band (he plays keyboard).

The IXO model kit (over 600 parts) comes beautifully packaged with parts well finished (no painting required).  It's sort of like an expensive, huge, complex 'snap kit' including a well illustrated 254 page soft cover instruction manual.

The finished model includes working headlights, tail-lights, brake lights, and interior light when the gull wing doors open.

It was fun to build and I'm delighted with the finished product.
