M W Elky Posted yesterday at 02:24 AM Posted yesterday at 02:24 AM (edited) This one is not the usual Moebius build as I had this jimmy Flintstone resin body laying around. So I prepped it and gave it a paint job of Testors diamond dust and Tamyia Italian red lacquer then topped it off with a couple of coats of clear. Then I rummaged through my vast assortment of spare parts to find all the needed parts . Johan 1964 petty Plymouth ; interior tub , dash And seat AMT 1968 road runner : chassis plate , 1969 galaxie : main roll bar hoop , old pro nova back crager S/S wheels , AWB Chevy 2 front tires + steering wheel , 1933 Willy’s blower intake , 1963 corvette blower parts , Mach Won F/C injector hat , 1937 Chevy front axle lindburg little red wagon : stock rear leaf springs cut down and used on the front polar lights : front wheels MPC 1972 Sox&Martin cuda : Hemi block and trans + valve covers Moebius : grill , slicks , windshield , chute , hood Revell Hemi Dart : rear , front subframe , firewall Headers : custom made with solder and aluminum tubing decals by Joe Curtis at freemont resin This is my favorite version of the Mr Norm 65 Awb Dodges I always liked the red and silver paint combo along with the big font lettering down the sides .I had a lot of fun accumulating the parts and fitting it all together . The body master was made from the original amt kit and it looks really nice maybe just slightly nicer proportions then the Moebius body . Edited yesterday at 12:12 PM by M W Elky Added text 6

papajohn97 Posted yesterday at 04:31 PM Posted yesterday at 04:31 PM (edited) Great job Mike on the two-tone paint scheme and those scratch-built headers! I also love this red & silver version of the Mr. Norm match racer but am burned out doing AWB '65 Mopars (5 is my limit for the year!) so I'll settle for admiring yours. Look's like that wheel-stand launch you did in the 2nd from last photo torqued the drive shaft right off!!! Cool build!!!! Edited yesterday at 04:32 PM by papajohn97 1
