Zero Kiryu's bloody rose (anime version)

i made this out of a colt m1911 bb gun i got on amazon that cost 12 dollars plus tax
this version is based on the look of the this vampire hunter's gun in the vampire knight anime while the manga version was different
i glued the slide and trigger and clip in place to make it static and cut the orange barrel extension off
i painted it rust oleum bright coat aluminum
i brush painted the grips apple barrel matte nutmeg brown acrylic paint
i then brushed a coat of deco art dura clear ultra matte varnish over the painted grips
i did touch up work with a apple barrel metallic silver ultra fine tip acrylic paint pen
i used a black sharpie to do the lettering and other designs on the slide
i drilled a tiny hole in the butt of the grip behind the clip so i could screw in a small eye hole screw so i could attach the metal lanyard chain to it
in both the anime and the manga the bloody rose did not like when yuki cross handled it and would zap her hand even if zero handed it to her
it is semi sentient like all vampire hunters weapons due to being made from the heart and blood of the progenitor of the pure blood vampires
the bloody rose a vampire hunters gun from vampire knight anime and manga is used by zero kiryu a former human now vampire
the kiryu family were a legendary vampire hunter family the parents of zero and his twin brother were murder by a pure blood vampire out of revenge for them killing her lover
the bullets in the bloody rose had special blood tipped ends that were deadly to vampires
and the bullets and shell casings were made of silver it could also fire normal rounds to deal with humans and for target practice
the bloody rose also fired off a magical purple symbol that could kill normal vampires that were once human with one shot and cause pain to aristocrat vampires with a single shot and severely hurt pureblood vampires with a single shot
i have one of the many differently english translated covers of the vampire knight season 1 theme playing in the video 
there is no official translated version of the theme song lyrics and due to the different ways a japanese word can be translated to depending on the region and how word is used  there is several different translated english lyrics some  covers have completly different lyrics and a couple  versions share some lyrics between versions not to mention there are a couple different yet similar engish translations for the name of the song one is two heartbeats and a red sin  while another is two pluses and red sins 

as for the anime it ran for two seasons and covered volume 1 through volume 10 chapter 2 of the manga and the main manga ended with volume 19  and was followed up with a sequel  manga series called vampire knight memories which ran for 10 volumes  the main manga series ran from 2004 to 2013 and the sequel ran from 2016 to 2015  it was created and wrote by Matsuri Hino  the anime's two seasons ran for 26 episodes from april 2008 to december 2008 and was made by studio deen both manga and anime are of the shōjo style romance story mainly a love triangle  but mixed with fantasy elements as well dark themes

thanks the colt m1911  and it's many clones made by other makers is one of only 2 slide action handguns i like the other is the beretta m9  because cause it was the main handgun used by the sg teams in all 3 main stargate tv series
