raymanz Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Need help, does anybody reproduce a Chevrolet-1953 2door belair sedan. I dont think it was ever made in kit form. But how about resin,Any help would be greatfully appreciated.
george 53 Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I thought Revell had a 53/54 Chevy kit. I think it's a post sedan.Welp, I just checked an yep they make one. It's got both year grilles and taillight assemblys. Actually it's been around for quite awhile. There's a Panel Delivery Van version too.
James W Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 The Revell version is a post sedan, but Monogram has a 53 BelAir hardtop. Revell's 53/54 dose not have the BelAir trim.

Thanks guys, I have the monogram kit but was trying to avoid havein to try to make a sedan out of it{LAZY]. But I'll see if I can come up with the revell. Thanks RAY
James W Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Here are some images from the '54 Chevrolet brochure. I would say add the Monogram Bel Air trim to the fenders of the Revell 53 Sedan, add BMF to the window trim accordingly and call it a Bel Air Sedan. Now Stop being LAZY
OSLRod Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Revell last issued a '53 Belair as a 3-in-1 kit (stock, custom, or lowrider), so if looking to build original out the box with parts to spare, that's the way to go.
