Resin Motorsports Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 (edited) Hey Everyone, I decided to try my hand at building a 1966 Batmobile using a Jimmy Flintstone kit i got off ebay a few weeks ago. This is a well put together kit that includes canopies, interior bucket, body, chassis, hood and all the little detailes as well as a photoetch detail set. I plan to attempt to make the doors open as well as place a ford big block engine. The chasis is missing alot of detail and i plan to cutout a great deal of this chasis and combine a later ford chasis for more detail. Heres some pics of the body before i soak it in wesleys bleach. Foxer Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Sounds interesting. Will be keeping my bat ears peeled....
mr moto Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Very cool looking!! It's easy to see the debt it owes to Revell's Lincoln Futura kit. Since the Batmobile started life as the Futura it might be cool to use the big Lincoln engine from AMT's '25 T kit.
