1969 Z-28 Interior Issue

Thinking about doing a 1/12 version of my 69 Z-28. The actual car had the optional "Houndstooth" interior (see pictures). Any suggestions for duplicating this type of seat fabric? Anybody done a 69 Pace Car perhaps with the orange houndstooth interior? THANKS

Well, if you want to do 1/25, the latest releases of revllogram's 69 has decals for the houndstooth.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did hear about that kit but I'm partial to doing a 1/12 scale. Although if no ideas are brought forward about the white houndstooth fabric I may have to do a 1/25 scale car.

It's 1:24 scale, but perhaps could be scaled up with a photocopier and printed on clear laser decal paper.

The sms decals are going to be 1/25. i dont know if would look right, but maybe you could get some 1/18 carbon fiber decals and try that?

If you have access to a scanner here's what might work for ya.

Get yourself some actual houndstooth fabric from a fabric shop, scan it, size it up to 1/12 scale and print it up on white decal sheets. I don't see why it wouldn't work for ya.

Try Keith Marks he may have the seat decals you need, even if it is not listed on his site email him, as he may have them. He may also enlarge one of his Camaro sets for 1/12 if you need different stripes.
