ANOTHER Corvair Van

Rather than hijack Skitt's post on his cool Corvair van, I thought I would show this resin cast separately.

I don't recall the caster, which is a good thing, considering how much work it will need. But, at least it is unique, and is workable. I found it on the big auction site several years ago.

Note the front in the above pic. The nose should be flat from one side to the other. That's but one thing of several that I will fix. At least it will be a challenge.

Here is a pic of myself around 1986 standing in where the flat six used to be on my '62 Corvair Greenbriar (window) Van.

It's a start. I wish someone would come out with a complete kit of the van, like they did with the V.W. Best of luck with it, and keep us posted.

Yikes; that's pretty bad IMHO.

Now I fully understand why that particular seller has such tiny & un-detailed photos of their product.

A step above TKM...but that's not saying much.
