Harry P. Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Pocher made three versions of this car: this one, the race version and the formal "Dinner Jacket" coupe. All three share the same chassis and engine, only the bodywork differs. Some in-progress shots are in the "Big Boyz" section...
E St. Kruiser50 Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Beautiful work Harry . It takes a lot of patience to assemble one of these. I checked it out in the "BIG BOYZ" section. Tons of "Tiny" parts even for 1/8th scale. Beautiful color combination. Think I saw one of these with blue fenders on ebay. Isn't ebay great ??
Foxer Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 That is a beautiful body ... and a stunning kit ... and one fantastic build!
envious8420 Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 if it wasnt for the last pic on the display base, i was ready to vote real. nice work harry!
Harry P. Posted August 8, 2009 Author Posted August 8, 2009 Think I saw one of these with blue fenders on ebay. Yep, this kit comes with the body molded in white and the fenders in bright blue!
rollover Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Just an excellent build, I bet it's breathtaking when seen first hand.
crispy Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Beautiful work Harry. It's a stunning looking car and you certainly did justice to it. Chris
Randy Kern Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 A stunning build of a beautiful car! I love those body styles with the long, sweeping fenders. The colors are perfect for a look of that era. Harry can not only moderate, he can build!! .
Alyn Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Ditto on the "real" vote. That car would make a great center piece in anyones collection. I love, really love the color combo.
Raul_Perez Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Very nice build, Harry!! I just sold my last one of these kits last week to a friend...yes, he's still a friend...he's built several Pocher kits, including this one. Later,
Helipilot16 Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Absolutely stunning! I might just get me one of these if one becomes available on Ebay. Great building skills are shown on this one.
